Easy Race Control (E.R.C.) is the basic software
of „Solution Timing“

E.R.C. Thanks to its empowered timing functions, enables you to follow the race progress from its very start till the end. Interfaced with a set of transponders installed on the karts, it records the time elapsed and the pilots chrono performances; at the same time all these data can be made available to the pilots and the public by means of a scoreboard and/or monitors arranged along the track.

Software

EASY RACE is a multitasking, multi-languages program; flexible, easy to install and simple to run, with a vast range of functions available through its 4 main menus: Kart Race, Pilot Race, Grand Prix and No Stop Race.

1) KART RACE

is able to also manage the control of the race without the intervention of an operator, it is sufficient to set the length of the heats (based on time or laps) and the type of classification (best time or order of arrival), E.R.C will do the rest. As soon as the kart enters the track, the program automatically starts its functions of timing; at the end of the competition it can activate a peripheral through the Light Interface device, in such way that the karts’ re-entry to the pits is guided by the bright signs system: ready run, race in progress/completed, score-board/monitor partial classifications, last turn, re-entry to the pits.

2) PILOT RACE

In the Pilot Race menu, it is possible to associate the name of the driver to the kart so that the public may easily identify the drivers. The operator will assign the pilots’ names to the karts in the registration ticket , it will be sufficient to set the length of the heats (based on time or laps) and the type of classification (best time or order of arrival), E.R.C will do the rest. As soon as the kart enters the track, the program automatically starts its functions of timing; at the end of the competition it can activate a peripheral through the Light Interface device, in such way that the karts’ re-entry to the pits is guided by the bright signs system: ready run, race in progress/completed, score-board/monitor partial classifications, last turn, re-entry to the pits.

3) GRAND PRIX

With Grand Prix it is easily possible to organize a truth Grand Prix: at the end of the qualifing session, the enrolled drivers will automatically be assigned the departure order for the final race. E.R.C will do the rest: - time qualification
- call to the pits for qualification race beginning, result print-out and grid for the race
– race beginning and automatic results, print out with the driver’s performances.

4) NO-STOP RACE

The No Stop Race menu is particularly suitable for the outdoor tracks.
The operator assigns a kart to the enrolled driver who has free access to the track, without having to follow a fixed or preset number of laps. When the kart enters the track, E.R.C. automatically starts the functions of timing. The system memorizes the chronometric account as well as the time of the kart’s use, in such a way determining the amount of the rental to be charged. The driver can request the print-out of the elapsed time used at any given moment.
